SolveQuotes by Solve Advisors was developed to improve price transparency and efficiency in illiquid markets through “smart” parsing and data aggregation of unstructured messages.

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to connect the dots within our software development team ensuring that team members are pulling together throughout the development process. At the start of a project, the successful candidate will define work breakdown structures, identify skills requirements and assign tasks accordingly. Initial milestones and related timeframes will be defined, and later refined as the project proceeds. For the duration of each initiative, the Project Manage will find and communicate dependencies within the development team and across the broader organization to ensure alignment with product development goals. Our team is nimble and we value team players that are able to wear many hats. The ideal Project Manager should have strong oral communications skills and be a leader that is able to solve conflicts over competing resources demands against multiple, simultaneous, high-priority tasks.

The team collaborates with product management to deliver products, work effectively with stakeholders to define their business requirements, shape the output of projects, and drive successful business outcomes. Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Meet with all parties involved and clarify specific requirements of each project
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless execution of multiple projects
  • Manage the relationship with the client and relevant stakeholders
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Meet with all parties involved clarifying specific requirements of each project
  • Delegate project tasks based on staff members’ individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels
  • Track project performance, to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
  • Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with team members
  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, and project roadmaps to document needs

Requirements:

  • 5+ years working experience in project management within the FinTech
  • Bachelor’s Degree in the appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) Certification
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
